If you've been meaning to nominate Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter (FOTCAS) in the Petsense Celebrates Pet Heroes Sweepstakes, this is your final reminder! 🐾💙

This year has been filled with medical cases, heartworm treatments, transports, fosters, adoptions, and countless animals getting a second chance because of this incredible community. Every nomination helps recognize the work being done for the homeless animals of Tipton County.

📣 FOTCAS Needs a Printer! 🖨️

This may not be the most exciting item on our wishlist, but it would make a HUGE difference in what we do every day. Behind every adoption, foster placement, transport, fundraiser, donation request, and community event is a mountain of paperwork, flyers, contracts, medical records, and informational handouts. Right now, we're piecing together printing wherever and whenever we can.

As a volunteer-run organization, we try to stretch every dollar toward the animals in our care. Sometimes that means putting off purchases that would make our work easier and more efficient.

A reliable all-in-one printer would allow us to:
🐾 Print adoption and foster paperwork
🐾 Create event flyers and fundraising materials
🐾 Print medical records and transport packets
🐾 Produce educational resources for our community
🐾 Stay organized while helping more animals
🐾 Keeping adoptable pet binders up to date

If you have a gently used printer you'd like to donate, or would like to help us purchase one, we would be incredibly grateful.

The animals may never know what a printer does, but we promise it helps us help them. 🩷 As always, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us fill the gap for the animals of Tipton County.

Looking for something fun to do this morning? Come see us at Hollywood Feed in Atoka from 10 AM - 2 PM for our Add to Cart Adoption Event!

We'll have some amazing adoptable dogs looking for their forever families, information about fostering and volunteering, and a chance to support local pets right here in Tipton County.

Even if you're not ready to adopt, stopping by to meet our dogs, share our posts, or simply say hello makes a huge difference. Every conversation helps another animal find their way home. 💜

🚩 Kitten Season Is Hitting Hard 🚩

The shelter is in dire need of wet kitten food. Right now, they have hungry kittens depending on them every single day, and the supply is running dangerously low!

The biggest crowd favorite? Fancy Feast Pâté. It's easy for the kittens to eat, helps keep them hydrated, and it's one of the few foods even our pickiest little ones will consistently gobble up.

If you've been looking for a simple way to help, this is it. One case, a few cans, or even sharing this post can make a difference.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter or purchased online and shipped directly to the shelter from the Amazon Wishlist.

These babies may be tiny, but they go through a LOT of food. Every can helps keep a full belly and a growing kitten healthy.

🐾 Calling All Rescue & Shelter Friends! 🐾

We have an idea, and we'd love to know who's interested! Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter (FOTCAS) would like to bring together other "Friends Of" groups, rescues, shelters, and animal welfare organizations for a collaborative discussion.

No competition. No agendas. Just a group of people who all care about helping animals and want to share ideas, resources, successes, challenges, and ways we can better support one another.

Whether you're a small foster-based rescue, a municipal shelter, a volunteer group, or a well-established organization, we'd love to connect. There is enough need for all of us. When we work together, we can save more lives, support more families, and strengthen animal welfare across our communities.

If your organization would be interested in participating, drop your organization's name below or send us a message. We'd love to start building something meaningful together.

Because at the end of the day, the animals don't care whose logo is on the shirt— they just need all of us working together. 🩷🐾
