Ava Woods

Ava is currently away at college but when she is home, she makes a BIG impact. So many of our younger girls look up to Ava, and thank her for always making them feel welcome and included.

Ava says:
"I’ve grown up in church and I’ve always loved attending! But it wasn’t until I went to McCullough that I found out church is more than just attendance, It is about a relationship with Jesus, growing towards Him everyday (even on the hard days). I came to Shift around two years ago, and I’ve grown my relationship with the Lord so much. I love that Shift is opening and there is always someone in your corner ready to pray with you! They encourage and lift each other up. It truly is one big family!"

Shift Worship team could not go on without our amazing and humble leader, Noah Sheffield. He prioritizes the presence of God in our services, and we are all so thankful.
Noah says:
"My name is Noah Sheffield, I have been attending MCC for the last five years. Jesus has set me free from anxiety, depression, po*******hy, anger, and religion. I now serve in Ignite Ministries, our Prayer Team, and I also lead worship wherever the Lord sends me. I have found a deep love in pouring life into the next generation that follows after me. When the world is yelling at them, Jesus is calling them by name. I have made it my priority to speak identity over them and lead them into all truth. I am honored to minister under Pastor Josh and Megan. It has been such a blessing, one that no one should miss out on."

Pastor Josh challenged us Wednesday to fill our life with gratefulness, peace, the word of God, so we can be a force in the Spiritual Realm! Shift, it's time to step up and let Jesus consume us.

Bayley Burgess jumped right into Shift as a camp chaperone this summer. She was Miss Team Spirit, hairdresser to the girls, and a blessing to all!
Bayley says:
"I’ve grown up in church and always had a heart towards children and youth! The Lord led my steps and placed me in Shift Youth for such a time as this. He always guides my steps and leads me even when I don’t expect it. I’m so excited to be working with Shift and watching each young person grow in their faith and their walk with God. I’m grateful to be a vessel for Him to work through in this season! New things are here and I’m so proud to be apart of it! 🤍"

Dylan and Montana Tolbert are true servants that help whatever is needed from sound to drama to camp counselors!
Dylan has attended MCC for 8 years, and Montana 3.5 years. This sweet couple met at the church, and have been married for one year ❤❤

They say: "We have both been serving in Ignite Ministries, Prayer Team, leading drama team, and Dylan serves on the worship team as well. We have been feeling the pull to Shift for a while and when we went to this past church camp, we truly experienced and felt the full LOVE of youth.
Jesus is a HUGE part of our life, and we can't make it one day without Him and His steadfast love. We're so blessed that God put Shift Youth, Josh, and Megan in our path! We're excited to be a part of this family!"

Trey Mitchell has been a part of Shift for 2 years, and is now one of our Student Leaders. Trey is a friendly face to help welcome new youth, and encourage our younger teens.
Trey says:
"Jesus has been everything and played such a crucial role in my life. I have truly seen the difference of what my life is like with Him and without Him. My life has been forever changed and my heart is yearing and burning for more of Jesus everyday!!!"
