♻️ FIGHTING DIRTY — AND WINNING 💪

From March 21 – April 7, our teams collected a total of 141 pounds of litter across the community — with 57 pounds recycled and 84 pounds properly disposed of.

These numbers also include our recent Campus Clean Up & “Don’t Drop It On Poarch” event, with great participation from the Torch Club, Keystone Club, PCI Museum, and Environmental Department 👏

Year-to-date, we’ve removed 963 pounds of litter from our community — and recycled 233 pounds right here at the PCI Recycling Center.

🌎 Why this matters:
That’s hundreds of pounds of trash kept out of our creeks, ditches, and the Perdido Creek watershed. But the real goal isn’t just cleanup — it’s prevention.

Let’s keep the momentum going.
👉 Respect the raccoon. Recycle. Don’t drop it on Poarch.

🙏 Big thank you to our Horticulture and PCI Recycling crews for continuing to lead the charge!

"Don’t Drop It On Poarch, Alabama " Delivers Big Results

🔥 FIGHTING DIRTY — AND WINNING! 🔥
On April 7, 2026, our community came together for the Don’t Drop It On Poarch, Alabama litter cleanup event—and the impact speaks for itself. This is what community pride looks like.

👏 Total Litter Collected: 141 pounds
♻️ Recycled at PCI Recycling Center: 57 pounds

A huge thank you to our partners and participants from Keystone, Torch Club, the Museum, and Environmental for stepping up and taking action to keep our Tribal lands clean and protected.

Because of your efforts, not only was litter removed from our community, but a significant portion was diverted from the landfill and properly recycled—helping protect our environment and waterways, including Perdido Creek and the Perdido River watershed Let’s keep the momentum going—every piece picked up makes a difference!
