Thank you to Boy Scout troop 54, Atlantic IA and American Legion post 43 for helping raise American flags at the Atlantic City cemetery this evening in preparation for Memorial Day. We wouldn’t be able to raise the nearly 80 flags without you.

Memorial Day is more than just the start of summer or a long weekend. It’s a day to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country and our freedom.

On Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on their sacrifice, the families they left behind, and the courage it takes to serve something greater than yourself. May we never forget that freedom isn’t free.

Please join us on Monday, May 25th at 10am for a Memorial Day program held at the Atlantic City Cemetery Field of Glory and take a moment to remember our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸

What We Need Right Now
Posts to sponsor delegates
Help getting candidates fully REGISTERED
Financial support to match interested students with sponsorships
How Sponsorship Works

All delegates must be sponsored by an American Legion Post — however, funding does not have to come solely from the Post. Sponsorships can be supported through:
Individual donations
Local businesses or organizations
Shared contributions
A full sponsorship is $600, but any amount helps. Even partial contributions can make the difference in getting a student to Boys State this June.

How You Can Help
Have a candidate but need funding?→ Reach out
Have funding but no candidate? → Reach out
Want to contribute in any amount? → Reach out
Our goal is simple: connect every interested, qualified student with a path to attend Boys State.

Micah Davis & Ryan Graham handed out candy at Trick or Treat on Chesnut street today. It was so rewarding getting involved with the community, seeing all the kids great costumes and smiles. Thank you to the American Legion & VFW members for donating candy and their time to be able to do this event.
