On this Ash Wednesday, Jesus invites us into the heart of Lent, not as a performance, but as a quiet return to God. Prayer, fasting, and almsgiving are meant to draw us closer to the Father, shaping our hearts in humility and trust.

Lent begins not with what others see, but with what God sees: a sincere desire to be renewed in love.

🙏 Lord, as we begin this Lenten journey, help us seek You in simplicity, honesty, and hope.

Just a reminder we will have our monthly meeting tomorrow night (02/17/2026). Rosary starts at 6:45pm and meeting will start at 7pm. We will also have pizza and some social time starting at 6pm for food, drinks and conversation. BYOB Thank you brother Knight Gary for providing the pizza! Today on Presidents Day, let’s choose prayer.

We pray for our elected leaders, past and present, local and national, and for all who carry the weight of public service. Leadership affects families, communities, and futures. It requires wisdom, courage, and humility.

Scripture urges us to pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1–2). So instead of division, let’s offer prayer. Instead of anger, let’s ask for unity rooted in truth and charity.

Lord, guide our leaders and bless our nation. 🙏

One of our programs is Coats For Kids. Pictured is Tim Marcsisak dropping off coats at Washington Elementary with Val Stickler. We also gave $400 of gift cards to Schuler Elementary to use as needed for students.
