ICYMI: Our Board Got a Rhythm Reset Yesterday 🎶🪘Yesterday’s board meeting kicked off with something special.

We were joined by Jersey Surf, an incredible organization which uses the power of music, rhythm, & connection to teach social‑emotional learning in ways that hit deeper than any PowerPoint ever could. Their work with youth is transformative, and I wanted our board to feel firsthand what our youth could experience. We felt it.
We laughed, we drummed, we synced up, & we remembered exactly why we do this work.

Our youth deserve programs to help them regulate emotions, build confidence, connect with others, & express themselves. Jersey Surf delivers this in the most joyful, impactful way.

Thank you for showing up with open hearts, open minds, and open hands ready to drum. The energy in that room reminded me exactly why we can, & will make a difference for the young people we serve.
