America's Heartbeat Rider Association Non-profit organization educating heart awareness for the # 1 killer, heart disease. America's Heartbeat Rider starring Iron Thunder = saving lives!

America's Heartbeat Rider Association, 501c3 non-profit organization, is dedicated to educating heart awareness for the prevention of heart disease. America's Heartbeat Rider starring Iron Thunder is gearing up for the upcoming "Heartbeat Rider Across America Tour." Along with roaring, dynamic entertainment, this tour will provide free health assessment screenings and education on addiction, treatment, and recovery.

"Around 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States each year..." Mikey Pestritto's inspiration for America's Heartbeat Rider Association stemmed from the struggle of his only surviving Uncle Tony and the early deaths of Pestritto family members from heart disease. His own struggle with alcohol addiction led him into a greater awareness of heart disease prevention. He learned that besides for hereditary factors, heart decease can possibly be linked to alcohol, drugs, smoking, unhealthy eating habits, obesity, stress, lack of exercise, etc. This fueled Mikey to create a new method of educating people on heart awareness, treatment, and recovery. After years of brainstorming, Mikey's two passions of drumming and motorcycle riding collided and formed IRON THUNDER, America's Only Extreme Motorcycle Trike Drum Machine. ("Iron" for the motorcycle trike and "thunder" for the drums). In Fort Lauderdale, Mikey collaborated with world renowned Sam Nehme of BMS Choppers to bring IRON THUNDER to life. IRON THUNDER will serve as the catalyst for the American Heartbeat Rider Association. After the project's completion, America's Heartbeat Rider starring IRON THUNDER will begin its journey of saving lives with the "Heartbeat Rider Across America Tour." This tour will provide dynamic, roaring entertainment along with special feature, The Happy HeartBeat Bus. This "Beat" Bus will provide risk assessments (cholesterol, blood pressure, carotid artery ultrasound, etc.), treatment of recovery, and various other screening services. General information

America's Heartbeat Rider Association was founded by Mikey Pestritto, The American Heartbeat Rider. Mikey is America's Only Virtuoso Percussionist Entertainer. He has dazzled audiences across the U.S. with his unique drumming style. Over the years, Mikey has jammed with Frank Zappa and opened for acts such for Gene Krupa, Louie Bellson, Wayland Flowers and Madame, Conway Twitty, The Kinks, and Queen. Mikey is deeply motivated to advocate for heart disease prevention and dreams to become a liable information source for the American Heart Association. America's Heartbeat Rider Association is dedicated to Mikey's Uncle Tony.
