UPHA Chapter 8/17 is comprised of membership from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Deidre Davis of Macon Geogria is the current Chapter Chairman with Christy Parker of Hortense Georgia serving as the Co-Chairman. Amanda Ward from Alpharetta Georgia is the Secretary Treasurer of this Chapter. Each year our Chapter hosts the UPHA Chapter 8/17 Horsemanship Challenge which is coordinated by Chapter Co-

Chairman Christy Parker. This event is designed to promoted Saddle Seat Riding and Sportsmanship in a competitive atmosphere for riders in the Southeast. This year our Horsemanship Challenge will be held at the UPHA Chapter 8/17 Fall Classic Horse Show in Perry Georgia in November.

UPHA Chapter 8/17 will be hosting a chapter meeting ringside at the Pro-Am Charity Horse Show of Georgia 11am today.
Following the meeting we invited everyone ringside for Chick Fil A graciously sponsored by Independent Equine Agents.
