LET’S TALK ABOUT NEFER-ATUM!

Family, today we are learning about Nefer-Atum, also known as Nefertum, the Kemetic deity connected with the sacred lotus, fragrance, beauty, and the emerging sun.

One of the things I love about Kemetic wisdom is how nature teaches us. The lotus emerges from the waters and opens its petals, giving us a beautiful image of creation and renewal.

Sometimes life takes us through seasons where we have to sit with ourselves, reflect, and find our way back to our own light.

But family, we are allowed to begin again! We are allowed to grow, to heal, to change, and to make room for something new.

Let this be your reminder to nurture your spirit and honor the season you are in.

𓋹 Question for the family: What are you ready to renew in your life?

Drop a 🌸 in the comments if you are opening up to a new season!

Peace and power Rasekhians. The saying “you are what you eat” comes from this ancient Kemetic proverb. Also “ thoughts become things” is another one taken from Ancient Kemetic. We don’t realize how much of what we say and do has its root in that sacred place. We give thanks for that wisdom every day. Be mindful of what you eat and what you think. Make it a great day on purpose.

Feed your soul the same way you feed your body.
When you neglect any aspect of yourself it will have a ripple effect. Take time to nurture your soul by tuning into your ancestral traditions. Healing is our birthright.
