While we love all creative mediums, seeing something go from stage play to film allows the director to flex their creative muscle even more.

After watching last week during a private screening, we noticed the cinematography moments that took us back to a cult classic action film that integrated a western style. What .harris has accomplished in her directorial debut is beyond phenomenal, it’s transcendent. This telling of twins is like no other and we can’t wait for our community to see it!

Black women, being expressive hasn’t always felt comfortable nor safe. But that’s changing. You’re allowed to have many emotions and to express them: rage, betrayal, grief, annoyance, frustration…

None of these have to define you. We can be multifaceted and dynamic, which is depicted by Writer and Director, Aleshea Harris in her latest film .
