Calling all UGA and 4-H supporters! The Georgia 4-H Foundation is excited to announce the 4-H Day at UGA Football Tailgate. Join us for a drop-in event before heading into Sanford Stadium to watch the Georgia Bulldogs beat the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on September 12.

Our tailgate will be located right by Gate 10 next to the Tate Student Center. We will offer light snacks, soft drinks, and Georgia 4-H swag to get you ready for the game. The tailgate will begin around 9:30 and will go until kickoff at 12:45.

If you plan on stopping by, we kindly ask you to fill out the registration form below so we can plan accordingly. We hope you will consider joining us for a day of fun and celebration of both the Bulldogs and Georgia 4-H!

Last month, hundreds of 4-H’ers gathered in Atlanta for Georgia 4-H State Congress. This event serves as the premier competition and recognition event for senior 4-H’ers and features a wide variety of activities including Project Achievement demonstrations, Leadership in Action interviews, installation of the new State Officers, and banquets celebrating our winners and vital stakeholders.

The Georgia 4-H Foundation would like to thank and recognize Atlanta Gas Light and Georgia EMC for sponsoring the Leadership Banquet and the Annual Banquet, respectively. Additionally, we would like to celebrate and thank all of the Blue Ribbon and Endowed Sponsors for their support of the numerous projects and special events recognized during State Congress.

What a spectacular year for the Georgia 4-H Foundation! Thank you to everyone that made this year the most successful year of fundraising for Georgia 4-H to date!

This year, supporters across Georgia and beyond invested in the future of Georgia 4-H, helping provide life-changing opportunities for young people to discover their passions, develop leadership skills, and become Beyond Ready for whatever comes next.

In FY26, the Georgia 4-H Foundation celebrated several major milestones including the most money ever raised with $5.3 million!

We are proud to recognize and celebrate the newest Emeritus Trustees of the Georgia 4-H Foundation.

Emeritus status is reserved for individuals whose extraordinary service, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting impact on Georgia 4-H and the Foundation. Through their commitment, countless young people have gained opportunities to learn, lead, and grow.

While their service as active trustees may have concluded, their legacy continues to inspire our mission and shape the future of Georgia 4-H. We are deeply grateful for the time, talent, and passion they have shared in support of generations of Georgia 4-H'ers.

Last week, Georgia 4-H’s Junior and Senior District Board of Directors got to experience Georgia Officer Training in Athens, Georgia.

This opportunity provides critical training and experience for these young people to grow their leadership abilities. 4-H’ers participate in a variety of training sessions over a three-day period that teach them everything from finding their leadership styles to proper table etiquette.

We are incredibly grateful to celebrate the dedicated service of our Georgia 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees 2024-2026 Executive Committee. Their vision, passion, and commitment have strengthened Georgia 4-H and created life-changing opportunities for young people across the state. Board Chair Ken Jones, Vice Chair for Development Mark Bennett, Vice Chair for Stewardship and Outreach Laura Meadows (not pictured), Secretary/Treasurer David Black, and Immediate Past Chair Scott Shell have provided invaluable guidance and leadership that have helped shape the future of the Georgia 4-H Foundation.
