Our brains are *fuel* of knowledge and we are *wheely* excited to have had Expert Mechanic, Zach, from Tires Plus teach our high school students about car maintenance and safety! The teens learned how to change a tire, check and refill coolant, power steering, oil, and wiper fluids, and how to use jumper cables!
🚙
During this month of Competence, we’ve been teaching our clubhouse members practical skills they can use throughout the life span and these are definitely ones they *auto* know before getting their drivers licenses!
🚙
If you value total car care that also cares about the community around them, then make sure you check out the Tires Plus off Atlanta Hwy!

Reinvent your Life

Remix Clubhouse was opened in 2017 and is 1 of 16 clubhouses across the state of Georgia. We are governed by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and are part of Advantage Behavioral Health Services.

This outpatient program takes place in our clubhouse called Remix. Participants have a chance to enjoy fun, creative activities while they learn better ways of managing their emotions and behaviors.

Our youth clubhouse program is a safe, educational environment where youth build supportive relationships with staff and fellow peers, while learning to manage symptoms of mental illness. At Remix, clients will have the opportunity to try new things, both offsite and onsite, and to meet other youth who have similar experiences.

In order to be considered for the program, members must have a mental health diagnosis and have the ability to participate in a group setting. Here at Remix, we believe in a holistic approach that utilizes individual, group, and family counseling options, family involvement nights, offsite adventures, treatment team meetings, and community outreach and integration. This means Clubhouse participants and their family members must be able to demonstrate that they can fully participate in most, if not all, activities.
