🌹 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with a heavy heart that I’m writing to let you all know that the final meeting for the Rotary Rose Group will be Thursday, October 16 at 10 AM.

I know that this group has been a lifeline for many of you, myself included, but due to a decrease in funding and consistently low turnout, the meeting in October will be our last.

I want to thank you all for not only the support you have show me personally, but for being brave enough to pull yourselves up and out to be a part of these meetings and tend to yourselves. I hope that you have been strengthened by your participation and can pass on the tools that you learned for coping in difficult times to your children and those around you.

And finally, a huge thank you to Krissy for being there for us from the beginning. Your calm and reassuring presence and honesty with us about your own struggles are key factors in the success of this group. I will be forever grateful.

So as we close this chapter, I want to express my gratitude to all of you. I am optimistic for the future because I do see so many mental health resources being more available and covered by insurance. This group served a purpose in a moment when we truly needed it, and I wish you all the best in the future. I will keep this page open, so please feel free to continue to post here and share!

True love 🤍🤍🤍

"Sad night last night but today is a brighter day. The ewe (female sheep) on the left lambed a stillborn and we were unable to resuscitate it. She cried most of the night longing for her lamb after we removed it.

The ewe on the right lambed twins last week, though they were very small. It seems that today she has given one of her twins to the grieving mother to raise as her own. This is a photo of them together with their new children."
