Caroline was nominated for her compassion, flexibility and dedication which makes a lasting impact on students every day. Her willingness to step up, support students through challenges and create a sense of belonging exemplifies what it means to put students first.

Thank you, Caroline, for all you do to help students thrive!

We love seeing our partnerships support career exploration for students!

Our first 5th grade class visited the AWS Think Big Space. Students spent the morning with RIASEC Career Exploration, watched career interest videos & completed a breakout box challenge.Loudoun County Public Schools Loudoun Education Foundation

Creating opportunities for bright futures.

The Loudoun Education Foundation helps local small businesses and employers provide students with paid internships.

Thanks to funding from Loudoun Credit Union and the Loudoun Chamber Foundation several Loudoun County Public Schools high school students are preparing for their future careers through these work-based learning opportunities.

Congratulations to Lunsford Middle School for leading participation in the 18th annual Asha-Jyothi 5K!

LEF's Director of Development, Kari Murphy, was there to cheer on the winning school and celebrate the impact of this incredible community event alongside Loudoun County Public Schools Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, Neil Slevin.

The Asha-Jyothi 5K helps generate resources that are returned directly to participating schools, supporting programs and opportunities that help students thrive.

Not a bad way to kick off the week! ⛳

On Monday, September 28th at River Creek Club, more than 130 golfers took to the course to play for LEF's mission. Invested sponsors, committed LCPS administrators and educators, and friends were excited to build community around the cause. Together they raised more than $150,000 to support LEF's mission, including our Fueled program.

Thank you Principal Frew from Sterling Middle School for sharing your story with the golfers about how LEF's mission has impacted your students. Thank you long time LEF Board Member, Wade Tetsuka, for your volunteer leadership. And thank you to all our sponsors!

As Hunger Action Month comes to a close, our work at LEF's Fueled program has only just begun.

Since the start of school we continue to see an increase in need for Fueled services. We're serving more than 1500 students a week with weekend meal bags and already working with more than 60 schools.

Our Fueled program coordinators, Courtney and Kirslyn met with LCPS Family Liaisons who are instrumental in getting their students what they need. We couldn't do this work without them.
Please check out how you can help the Fueled program all year long. https://www.loudouneducationfoundation.org/fueled
