Before you bring household hazardous waste to the HHW Depot in Springfield, please consider who might be able to use that Armor All, Turtle Wax, Windex, spray paint, WD-40, laundry detergent, fabric softener, shampoo, or conditioner, etc., etc., etc. We know that if you are cleaning out a relative's home, or are moving, you might not have the opportunity or knowledge to re-home any of these products, but it you are just doing a big annual clean of things you don't like or can't use anymore, there might be a neighbor or friend who would like a free household cleaner or personal care product. If not, bring those things to us along with the actual hazardous items (roofing tar, bleach, ammonia, trichloroacetic acid, drain cleaner - it's a long list) and we'll sort everything out.
