Vermont Governor Phil Scott has issued an Executive Proclamation affirming November as Native American Heritage Month. He also mentions "...Resolution-114 of 2021, Vermont’s Legislature apologized and expressed sorrow for Vermont’s participation in eugenics policies and practices against Indigenous people, as well as other targeted ethnic groups..."
