Cohen and his young mother have been with us for the last two months, seeking to learn & grow under the Wimberly Lifeskills and transitional mentorship program. Today was the first time that this young man held a pen & paper!👏 Please leave a 👍 if you believe that he's off to a transformational future!! He's been trying really hard to learn some basic skills....including reading, scribbling, speaking (effectively), and a few other life basics. He's shown significant improvement over the last two months and I hope to see more as he approaches his 3rd birthday, in August. For the last thirteen years we've been transforming young lives through sports, agricultural projects, recreational skills, leadership, communication, youth camps and transitional mentorship/housing for young battered women. To those who have walked this journey with us, we appreciate your love & financial support throughout the years. For those who have visited for hands-on support, thank you and welcome back.
