Not every Bible has pages.

Some people read Scripture. Others listen to an audio Bible or see it in sign language. Film and oral Bible storytelling offer even more ways to encounter God’s Word.

That’s why we work with partners on more than just printed Bibles. The goal isn’t one format for everyone, it is God’s Word for everyone.

Bible translation doesn't happen apart from everyday life, but it happens in the midst of it. The work takes time, dedication and commitment, and it's surrounded by ordinary joys: fellowship over meals, times of refreshing and homes that love and serve the Lord.

These moments go hand in hand with the work of seeing a world where everyone can know God through His Word.

Across the Pacific, local partners, churches and translation teams are faithfully advancing Bible translation among the region’s many island communities and languages, so more people can encounter all of God’s Word in the language they understand best.

We are praising the Lord for the Madi community Scripture dedication in PNG, longstanding field partners and communities that are encountering God’s Word more clearly. We also give thanks for Starlink’s deployment in remote locations in Papua New Guinea, as it helps in the mission of accelerating Scripture translation and impact.

We invite you to continue praying for the Pacific. Pray for strength and provision for translators, unity among local partners and for the Starlink equipment to work well and provide more stable internet for translation teams. Pray also for God’s Word to bring clarity as people seek to understand the truth of the Gospel. 🌊

Psalm 16 in the NIV is a reminder that God is our safe place and our greatest treasure.

Through Him, we are shown the way to life, and with Him we find joy, longevity and lasting hope.

No matter what, we can trust that God is with us and our future is safe in His hands.

Every Bible translation is shaped by people working together with care.

Here, Pastor Manuel Enrique Chavez Mendoza, leader of the Awakateko translation project, offers a glimpse of the careful work behind the completed Bible. On February 13, 2025, nearly 2,000 people gathered in Aguacatán, Guatemala, to dedicate the full Bible in Awakateko.

God speaks Awakateko.

Jesus reminds us that when our focus is fixed on Him and His Word, His light reaches every part of us. May we fix our gaze on what is good and true, shaped by God’s Word today.

The sound of celebration filled the air as the Notsi people rejoiced in God’s promise that those who wait on Him will not be put to shame.

The Notsi people, numbering about 2,000, had waited roughly 40 years for Scripture in their language. This dedication celebrated the completion of the New Testament in the Notsi language in Papua New Guinea in June of 2025.

Around 600 people attended the celebration, which included music, dancing, feasting and the presentation of the New Testament in a special ark. After 40 years of waiting, the Notsi people now have part of God’s Word in their own language. This is a reason to celebrate and give thanks!
