Source of Compassion

Source of Compassion SOC provides human services assisting individuals and families in overcoming their various problems.

Our mission is to give youths and poor families greater opportunities for work and success by providing school supplies for orphan children and vocational training for adults. For the drug-addicted and abandoned children, we are providing treatment and relief services.

THANKFUL THURSDAY! We are so grateful for our sponsored children. Monthly support doesn't cost a lot, but it helps relieve some of the financial burden on the mothers and guardians of these children, allowing them to focus more on their education and other needs. Our May 2026 Sponsor Children are growing and thriving.

THANKFUL THURSDAY! Our activities at the Hope Center are continuing. We offer multiple levels of English courses as well as a course in Russian for Refugees. (Russian is the national language, so it is vital for refugees to communicate in daily life.) As usual, we are also continuing to provide for our other services, including child sponsorship and relief services. In addition, we are preparing for the children's summer camp! Thank you to all of our supporters coming alongside us, we are grateful you are part of this team.

THANKFUL THURSDAY!
At the SOC Hope Center, we started a new level 1 course for 12 students aged 45 to 60 years old.
This age group has requested to learn English for various reasons- some are retired and want to travel, some want to be able to talk to their grandchildren who live in America and Europe, some wish to further their studies and English helps them to accomplish this.
Our teacher enjoys the time she spends with them.

THANKFUL THURSDAY!!!
At the SOC Hope Center, March 31 marked the last day of the semester. On this day, all English courses held their final tests, and the results were very positive. Students from Level 1 advanced to Level 2, and those in Level 3 moved on to the conversation class.
It was a stressful day for the students, but when they saw their results, they felt happy and proud of the knowledge they had gained during their period of study. The students are now kicking off their next semester as we begin a new round of Level 1 students.

On March 22, 2026, the Source of Compassion team participated at the international event in Mansfield, Texas.
We offered a presentation about all of our SOC projects and activities in Central Asia-specifically in Kyrgyzstan-as well as in the DFW area, all of which serve those who are materially poor, refugee families, and orphans.
We met like-minded individuals, organizations, and other humanitarian and charity groups.
It was enjoyable to meet new people and new contacts, who serve all over the world.

February 2026 Child Sponsorship:

One of the children’s mothers told us,

“Yesterday I had used all the money I had, and today I didn’t even have anything left to buy food or basic needs for my child. I was very worried and restless, thinking about what I should do.

On that same day, you called us that sponsorship support had come. I thank God, because He brought help at the right time.

Sometimes this amount of money may seem small, but it brings peace, hope, and happiness to families like ours.”

Thank you for your support. God bless you!

Our child sponsorship program makes a difference in the lives of these precious children.
