Join us for another Northwest Community Center Outreach Night on Thursday, May 21st from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.!

This is a night for the community to come together, connect, play, and build relationships in a safe and welcoming environment for all ages. Whether you want to shoot hoops in the gym, enjoy games with family and friends, participate in chess lessons ( this week), access the computer lab, or study. There is something for everyone.

So much great energy🙌 at the Northwest Community Center & Lovie Watson Park last night!

NWCC held its 2nd Outreach Night this year with the assistance of some outstanding volunteers!

Youth were engaged with pickup games of basketball🏀, board games🎲, pool🎱, air hockey🏒, chess♟️ & checkers!

Kids munched on snacks and listened to music. One young man was heard exclaiming, “We are back!”

Many thanks to our volunteers who kept the youth engaged and supervised all night long!

Outreach Nights will happen each 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month. Next up, April 16th from 4-8 pm.

The Northwest Community Center is excited to host the “Live in Control: Managing Diabetes Together” workshop in partnership with Cowley County K-State Extension

This 4-session educational series is designed for individuals who are living with diabetes or supporting someone who is managing it. The classes will provide helpful education, practical tools, and supportive conversation around living well while managing diabetes.
