Congratulations to Hadley Musson for being named the Arkansas City Rotary Club’s Service Above Self Student Honoree for the month of May.
Rotary International’s Service Above Self Award is the highest honor for individual members, recognizing Rotarians who demonstrate exemplary humanitarian service, with a focus on personal volunteer efforts and active involvement in helping others. The Arkansas City Rotary Club Service Above Self Student Award was established in 2025 to recognize similar efforts within our community.
Our program at today’s meeting was presented by Arkansas City High School FFA. Hadley Musson and Landen Larson did a fantastic job presenting for their organization.

It's meeting day! We always have fantastic speakers lined up to keep us informed of local initiatives. Earlier this month we were honored to hear from soon-to-be USD 470 Superintendent Will Pfannenstiel. Today's meeting will include a presentation from special guest, MaKayla Shields with CASA of Cowley County.

20,000 meals packaged for our local food pantries in record time! Rotary Club of Arkansas City members joined forces with other community volunteers to make this impactful project a success, packaging all of the meals in just over one-hour.

This annual food‑packaging event is funded in part by the club’s City of Flags project, a great example of how local support creates real, local impact. Rotary District 5680

It's meeting day! Our last meeting featured a fantastic presentation by Ed O'Malley, President and CEO of the Kansas Health Foundation, as he provided an overview of the book: Leading Health: How You and 30,000 Kansans Help Communities Thrive. The book emphasizes that everyone has a role to play in improving community health outcome.

Greg Butler with ACES was our speaker today. He informed us of the many projects that ACES are involved in, in our local community.
