As a local business owner, I believe being part of a community means more than simply doing business here—it means caring for the people who call this place home.
Supporting Humboldt Soup On, which provides nutritious meals to members of our unhoused community is especially meaningful to me. Access to a wholesome meal is a basic human need, but it can also offer something more: dignity, comfort, connection, and the reminder that someone cares.
Local businesses have a unique opportunity to make a difference close to home. When we support organizations doing this important work, we’re investing directly in the well-being of our neighbors and helping build a stronger, more compassionate community.
