The Supreme Court decided through Citizens United that corporations are people, yet constitutionally, women are still not people. The late Justice Antonin Scalia stated that “Certainly the Constitution does not require discrimination on the basis of s*x. The only issue is whether it prohibits it. It doesn’t. Nobody ever thought that that’s what it meant. Nobody ever voted for that.”

The Dobbs decision confirmed that the powerful in this country
believe women are not equal and not capable of making their own
decisions without government interference. Some would even take
the vote away from women!

Individually, we can each honor the women who came before us by
continuing to fight for our rights, vote in every election, convince
family and friends to vote, and to never ever stop speaking up.

As Frederick Douglass stated, “the powerful concedes nothing without a demand”.
