This Saturday at UpStreet:

Joy is not what happens around me. Joy is what God produces inside me.
Paul and Silas were not joyful because they were in prison, they were joyful because their circumstances did not get to decide what was happening inside of them.
Therefore, Paul and Silas could sing because:
* God was still God even in the prison.
* God was still with them even when they were hurting.
* God was still good even when their situation was bad.
* God still had a purpose even when they couldn’t see what He was doing.

WE’RE BACK. ❤️

Today officially kicked off another semester of UpStreet Sidewalk Sunday School..and the heat definitely decided to welcome us back in full force. ☀️😅 It was HOT.

But it was well worth the sweat!!!
Lots of Preschoolers, elementary kids and Parents listening to the Gospel Message under the microphone. Different ages, different stories- all gathered together in the same place- and once again, we were reminded why Saturdays like this matter.

This semester, we’re learning about the Fruit of the Spirit- what it looks like when Jesus doesn’t just change what we believe, but begins changing the way we live.
Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.

Today wasn’t perfect. It was extremely hot, a little chaotic, and there were plenty of moments that reminded us we’re getting back into the rhythm of things. 😂 Good news is though…. we showed up. And they showed up. And most importantly, God showed up. Another semester has begun, and another Saturday of planting seeds.

SSS is back. ❤️ And we’re ready to see what God grows this semester.

🎄 CHRISTMAS IN JULY 🎄

It may only be July, but we’re already preparing for Christmas!

One of the most special parts of our Christmas outreach is that we don’t just give gifts- we give dignity.

Each year, we transform our church into a Christmas store where single moms are invited to shop completely FREE for their own children. Instead of simply receiving a bag of presents, they get to experience the joy of choosing the gifts they know their children will love.

❤️ That’s where you come in.

By shopping throughout the year, you help make this beautiful experience possible. Every toy, game, gift card, book, pair of pajamas, stocking stuffer, and donation becomes part of a mom’s Christmas story.

We’re inviting individuals, businesses, Sunday School classes, churches, and civic groups to begin collecting now. Shopping a little at a time allows us to make a huge impact in December.

Together, let’s remind every mom who walks through our doors:
You are loved. You are seen. You are not alone.
