WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE MURDER OF SHEILA FRANKS?

Sheila Franks was last seen in Eureka, California, on February 2, 2014. Her then-boyfriend, James “Jim” Eugene Jones, told investigators that Sheila had gone for a walk and never returned.

In 2019, a femur recovered near the mouth of the Eel River was positively identified as belonging to Sheila. Investigators believe she was the victim of a homicide.

Her case shares striking similarities with that of Danielle Bertolini, who disappeared just days earlier, on January 29, 2014. Both women had blonde hair and blue eyes, knew some of the same people, and were reportedly last seen by James “Jim” Eugene Jones, whom law enforcement has identified as a person of interest.

In March 2015, Danielle’s skull was discovered near the Eel River. Authorities believe Danielle was also the victim of a homicide.

Investigators have explored potential connections between the two cases. Both families deserve answers, and someone may have information that could help move these investigations forward.

Sean Sidi was just 19 years old when he disappeared from San Francisco. He was last seen near 150 Oak Street after visiting a former teacher.

At approximately 1:38 p.m. on May 21, 2013, Sean spoke with his father and said he was heading to the park. His phone stopped communicating shortly after 2:00 p.m. Sean was on foot and has not been seen since.

Before his disappearance, Sean suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. His medical condition made finding him especially urgent.

More than a decade later, Sean’s family continues searching for answers. Someone may have information that could help bring them closer to knowing what happened to him.

WHAT HAPPENED TO ROWDY MCMILLIAN?

Rowdy McMillian was reported missing on January 12, 1998, from Butte County, California. At the time, he had not been seen or heard from for several days.

On January 31, 1998, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office received information that a man known as “Rowdy” had allegedly been beaten and killed, and his body thrown into the Sacramento River near the washout on River Road outside Chico.

Rowdy has never been found. Investigators believe foul play was involved, and his case is believed to be a homicide.

More than 28 years later, questions remain about what happened to Rowdy and where he may be.
