What an incredible gift of love.

This weekend, 25 talented women from the Blue Grass Quilt Guild in Richwood, Kentucky gathered together with one purpose in mind: to bless children entering foster care.

Thanks to their generosity, creativity, and countless hours of work, they created 57 beautiful handmade quilts for our foster littles at Katie's Boutique.

Our very own TANL team member Patti Jo Broshar-Foust, who is a member of the guild and the only member from Indiana, shared the mission of TANL and the children we serve. These amazing women embraced our foster littles as their own, pouring their hearts into every stitch.

What makes this gift even more special is that before the retreat ended, the ladies gathered together to pray over each quilt and for the child who will one day receive it.

Many of the children who come through our doors arrive scared, uncertain, and carrying more than any child should ever have to carry. Soon, 57 children will wrap themselves in more than a quilt. They will be wrapped in love, prayers, and the kindness of people who cared enough to make sure they were not forgotten.

From our hearts to yours, thank you to Patti and every member of the Blue Grass Quilt Guild for sharing your time, talents, and love with children you may never meet, but whose lives will be touched by your kindness.

Your stitches have become comfort.

Your prayers have become hope.

Your generosity has become love wrapped in a quilt. ♥️

Kids in foster care shop free at Katie's Boutique and today Tracy is giving you a look inside.

Every rack, every shelf, and every pair of shoes represents something bigger than clothing. It represents dignity, comfort, choice, and reminding children that they matter.

We serve children across the entire state of Indiana. Wherever a child is placed, our doors are open.

Children who shop at Katie’s Boutique are able to choose brand new clothing, shoes that truly fit, and essentials in a space created just for them because every child deserves to feel seen and valued.

We work hand in hand with foster families, the Indiana Department of Child Services, schools, and community partners so children receive what they need without delay. Help is here when children need it most.

Right now we have a special need for boys and teen boys basketball shorts. Summer is here and this is one of our most requested items. If you would like to help fill our shelves, we would be incredibly grateful.

We had the incredible honor of sharing all about TANL with the 2nd grade students at Frankton Elementary during their Serve Day.

These amazing students spent their day making gift bags for our foster littles with the help of their teachers. Each bag was filled with love and kindness including new socks, books, toothbrushes, activities, candy, and other special items to help bring comfort to children entering foster care.

What may seem like a simple project truly means so much more.

For a child walking into an unfamiliar situation, a small bag filled with thoughtful items can bring comfort, distraction, and a reminder that people care about them.

Seeing these students serve others with such compassion at such a young age gives us so much hope for the future.

To the students, teachers, and staff at Frankton Elementary, from our hearts to yours, thank you for loving our foster littles so well. ♥️

Today was a great day at Katie's Boutique as students from Frankton High School showed up ready to work and jumped right in wherever they were needed.

They unloaded trailers, moved totes full of hygiene items, organized racks in our warehouse, and spent time making sure our foster littles will walk in to find clothing that is stylish, fun, and something they can feel confident wearing.

What may look like simple tasks behind the scenes matters.

Seeing young people give their time, energy, and heart to serve others gives us so much hope for the future.

Tonight we got the call that a newborn baby girl was on her way to the TANL House and she had absolutely nothing.

As soon as the Indiana Department of Child Services called, we dropped everything.

Within minutes, Katie's Boutique was being pulled apart gathering everything this precious little one would need. Newborn pajamas. Diapers. Wipes. Bottles. Blankets. Formula. A brand new infant car seat. All the tiny essentials that every baby needs and deserves to have.

Moments like this are why TANL exists.

Children do not get to choose the circumstances they are born into or the heartbreak they may face. But together, we can make sure they are met with love, dignity, comfort, and safety from the very beginning.

Tonight, because of our communities, a baby girl will arrive to warmth, care, and people ready to love her well.

As our littles shop at Katie's Boutique - Foster Indiana, Teresa Clark is bagging up the clothing, shoes, toys, blankets, and special items they carefully chose for themselves.

Every child who walks through our doors deserves the chance to make choices, feel seen, and leave with things that are truly their own.

What may look like simple bagging and helping children shop is really so much bigger.
It is part of creating dignity, comfort, and a sense of normalcy for children entering foster care.

Teresa and our team serve our foster littles with such kindness and care, and we are so grateful for the love they pour into this mission every single week.

This is more than a billboard.

It is a child walking into the TANL House and finally feeling safe.

It is a Swag Pack placed into the hands of a child on one of the hardest nights of their life.

It is a little one at Katie's Boutique - Foster Indiana getting to choose brand new clothes, shoes, pajamas, toys, and comfort items that are truly their own.

It is dignity. It is comfort. It is showing children entering foster care that they matter from the very beginning.

And none of this happens without you.

Every donor. Every volunteer. Every sponsor. Every person who shares our posts, shows up to events, gives financially, prays for this mission, or stands beside us in any way.

You are helping change the way foster care begins for children right here in Indiana.

Kimberly Allen Gordon of Countyline Auto Body Specialist showed up with arms full of brand new clothing for our littles at Katie's Boutique - Foster Indiana.

Outfits carefully chosen. Every piece given with purpose and love for the littles who will walk through our doors.

Kimberly and Brad are always finding ways to give. Shopping, putting together baskets, showing up again and again so our littles have what they need.

It is not just generosity. It is consistency. And that matters.

Because of you, children entering foster care will have clean clothes, choices, and the dignity they deserve on some of the hardest days of their lives.

We just love Teresa Clark!

Every Monday and Wednesday, Teresa is here helping our foster littles shop at Katie's Boutique and loving them so well in the process.

At Katie's Boutique - Foster Indiana, children get to shop absolutely free twice a year and receive 5 tops, 5 bottoms, new shoes, 5 pairs of socks, 5 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of pajamas, 2 dresses for girls, swimwear, hygiene items, school supplies, blankets, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, books, arts and crafts, and two new toys to call their own.

But more than the items, they receive dignity, choice, and the simple joy of getting to be kids.

Teresa helps make that happen every week with such a caring heart. Her kindness and faithfulness in showing up for our littles means so much.

Behind so much of what makes Katie's Boutique feel special is Lisa Bednar Cook.

Whether she is stocking the toy room, caring for every detail at Katie’s Boutique, or making sure the TANL House is ready for littles who need a safe place to land, Lisa serves with so much heart.

What many do not see is how much she pours into this mission behind the scenes. The time, the care, the details, and the love she gives help make this mission possible every single day.

Lisa, you are a powerhouse and we want you to know how much you are loved and appreciated. Thank you for always showing up for our foster littles.
