Yesterday, in a very solemn celebration of life held at La Habra Christian Church, Chapter Advisor Mom Roman and I commemorated the life of our brother Jacob. Many people echoed his devotion to the community and his church. I was pleased to give one of his eulogies. His memory will live on, within and without the chapter. Rest easy, brother. We love you. 🕊️

Walt Disney Chapter honored our Brother Jacob, last night, in an intimate ceremony with Jacob's family, friends, and President, Jude. I, along with his brother in law Abram, and Anthony, all PMCs of Walt Disney, testified about Jacob and his values, character, and impact within and outside the Chapter. The Chapter room was one of his favorite places and was a safe haven for him. Because of DeMolay, Abram said, he became more devoted to serving his church, he improved his social skills, and he developed himself to becoming a better man.

We love you, Jacob. You will always be in our hearts. 🕊️

As Master Councilor of Walt Disney Chapter, I am extremely heartbroken to announce the passing of our brother, Jacob Malott. He was initiated on September 25, 2017 with 3 other people, myself included. He received the DeMolay Degree on October 16, 2017. He has served as Junior Councilor, Chaplain, Marshal, and Standard Bearer. He reached Majority in 2022. He will forever be remembered as a motivator for his peers. He would bring out jokes. He would make people smile. He did so much and contributed so much to my development as a leader. I'll see you in the next life, my brother. Travel well.
