Saint Bernard Priory, Order of Knighthood is an appendant organization within Southern California DeMolay for the older active members who are 17 – 21 years of age. The Priory focuses on maintaining the active and vested interest of older DeMolays and serves as a tool to help them realize that they have a responsibility to serve as mentors to the younger members of the jurisdiction. The Priory mem

bership consists of the most active, experienced, successful and dedicated young men who have proven themselves to be effective leaders in DeMolay. As a Knight you are called to a higher degree of service and as such you are held to a higher standard of responsibility, leadership and commitment. As a working body, the Priory is dedicated to serving the members of Southern California DeMolay as a part of the effort invested in providing the best DeMolay experience. As a group of young men in the same age range, the Priory also serves to provide members with an appealing and engaging program geared toward everyone having an enjoyable and meaningful experience.

Priory applications will be accepted right up to opening ceremonies at Conclave.
Minimum requirements: 16 or older, 2 years in DeMolay, recommended by 2 Knights and a Advisor and a desire to be of service to the chapters/Jurisdiction.

$35 fee should accompany the application.

The priory is accepting letters of intent for Illustious Knight Commander, Squire and Page Commanders and Lady of the Priory.

Applications are due to Dad Ira Neal Mazer no later than 5/27/2023. Applications are available on the SCJ website.
