📢 Important Meeting Date Correction!

The weekly school announcements listed the incorrect date. Our PreK–5 PTA and 6–12 PTSA meetings will NOT be held on October 27. Both meetings will take place on Friday, November 20!

❤️ PreK–5 PTA: 6 PM at Park Avenue Library, followed by Family Paint Night! 🎨

❤️ 6–12 PTSA: 7 PM via Zoom.

Thank you for your understanding!

❤️ PTSA 6–12: 7 PM por Zoom.

Our SEPTA representing at the Amityville LAP trunk or treat!!!

10/25/2026

The PTA, PTSA, and SEPTA will all have cars at the trunk or treat today so stop by and say hello! This is a free event so bring your kids down and tell a friend or two! The class of 2027 will be selling food and drinks at the concession stand so be sure to stop by and support them! Reminder that Merrick Road is closed between Ocean and Grand Central so be sure to come down Bayview instead to bypass that area.

The PTSA delivered pizza this afternoon to the AMHS Band students prior to their departure to the Steve Morris we wish them good luck tonight! There’s still time to buy your tickets to the show tonight! 50% of ticket sales associated with AMHS are donated directly to our band program! Tickets must be purchased in advance of the festival on their website and make sure to select Amityville HS from the drop down menu so our kids can benefit from your tickets purchase! We hope to see you there! Join us in the center section of the bleachers as we are sitting with family members, friends, teachers, staff, and community members to cheer on our great band as one TIDE!
