Today we're celebrating all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles, mentors, and father figures who shared their stories, sparked our curiosity, encouraged our love of learning, and maybe even introduced us to our favorite books.

Wow, Amesbury! 💛

Our Fabulous Father's Day Basket is turning out to be one of our most successful fundraising efforts yet, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Thank you to the many local businesses that generously donated items, gift cards, and experiences, and to everyone in the community who purchased a raffle ticket, shared a post, or helped spread the word.

Your support helps the Friends of Amesbury Public Library continue our mission of funding programs, services, museum passes, and resources that benefit our entire community.

One of the things we love most about Amesbury is how local businesses come together to support our community. 💛

Over the past few weeks, we've been highlighting the generous businesses that helped create our Fabulous Father's Day Basket.

Today we're featuring our final contributors:

Geo's Roast Beef and Pizzeria - $25 GC & one cheese pizza
Amesbury Golf & Country Club - Two rounds of nine holes, cart included($80 value)
The Stacks - Books: Dads, Fatherhood, Quotes Everyman Should Know & a $15 gift certificate
Friends of the APL- Lounge hammock, grilling skewers, Glow Disc, BBQ puffs, caramel corn, Axis Multitool, notepad, pancake mix, ArmorAll car cleaner, even a Father’s Day card!

Together with donations from 17 local businesses, they've helped create a basket valued at more than $900!
