Elves can drop off anytime during business hours at Amesbury Chevrolet & the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce. All donations must be dropped off by Saturday, December 16th!

Interested in being an elder elf this holiday season? There are many ways you can help us reach our goal and spread some holiday cheer to our senior citizen community this December!

Don’t want to assemble a whole stocking? No worries, we’re happily accepting items to use in stockings that our committee is assembling! Stay tuned for a full list of drop off locations.

Are you a business owner or organization looking to get involved? We’d love to have you join us! You can sign up to contribute stockings as a office/group, host a collection drive, host a collection bin at your location, raise money in a “tip jar” style to be used to purchase gift cards and more! These items will be used to assemble care packages along with the other loose items that are donated.

Make a financial contribution. While creating these stocking care packages is a fun way to contribute, we know that not everyone who wants to support this initiative has the time or money to do so. Please reach out if you’d like to make a donation by cash or check. Any amount, big or small will help us reach our goal of making our elder community feel loved and supported this holiday season!

We would like to send a massive shout-out to Amesbury Chevrolet!

We are absolutely thrilled and grateful that they have signed up to partner with us again this year as our primary drop-off/collection site.

Their commitment is a huge part of our initiative and adds so much to our ability to spread holiday cheer to our senior community. We can't wait to work with you all again!

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the Amesbury Elder Elves are gearing up for our second year of spreading holiday cheer to our beloved senior community!

Last year, our first-year initiative was an overwhelming success, all thanks to the incredible support of this community. Together, we were able to provide stocking care packages and/or items to more than 500 seniors. This included every resident at The Towers, Heritage Vale, and Powwow Villa, every recipient of Meals on Wheels, and deliveries to social workers at Pettengill House, the Council on Aging, local nursing homes, and the Veterans Office for distribution. We also delivered a bin of cold-weather accessories to the Council on Aging to support more than 40 unhoused seniors in Amesbury.

Seeing the smiles on the faces of our seniors when they received their gifts was absolutely heartwarming and a true reminder of the power of community. We saw friends, families, coworkers, and even a book club come together—many participating in memory of a loved one—to make a real difference. Thank you to everyone who supported us! You really stepped up, and we are so grateful.

There are many ways you can help us make the season brighter for our senior community, reminding them that they are loved and appreciated including, signing up to donate a stocking/care package. Hosting a collection at your workplace, school, or with a group. Donating items to go into stockings. Purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist (link in comments soon!) & more.

We are still reeling from this incredible surprise. Such an honor to be recognized at the SGT Jordan M Shay Memorial Foundation's bowling tournament this past Thursday. We are filled with joy and gratitude after being gifted with this truly incredible $2,000 check!

A massive thank you to the SGT Jordan Shay Foundation for your incredible generosity and for shining a light on the contributions of our Elder Elves initiative to the Amesbury community. Your support means the world to us and will go a long way in helping us spread even more holiday cheer to our wonderful senior community this upcoming season. We can't wait to get back to work, bringing smiles and a little bit of magic to everyone! ❤️

Amazing things happened at the SGT Jordan M Shay Memorial Foundation Bowling Tournament last night!

Our Amesbury Elder Elves team were surprised with a generous $2,000 check from the SGT Jordan Shay organization! This will go a long way in continuing our incredible work. We're so proud of our team and grateful for the support!

We’re busy making deliveries and can’t wait to report back with the totals on Monday but for now we’d like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who donated individual items through our collection bins or Amazon wishlist!

Thanks to your generosity, we assembled over 75 stocking care packages, including these pictured, which were delivered to the 68 individuals in Amesbury and Merrimac who receive Meals on Wheels. Your kindness truly made the season brighter for so many!

A special shoutout to Patrick McCormick, with Baystate Financial for forgoing traditional holiday cards this year and instead ordering items from our wishlist. Your thoughtful contribution made a huge difference!

We’d like to take a moment to offer a HUGE thank you to Amesbury Chevrolet.

This initiative would not have been possible without their incredible generosity and unwavering support. From the moment they were approached, Amesbury Chevrolet has enthusiastically supported our Elder Elves’ efforts.

Serving as the main collection site, hosting our kickoff event, assembling & donating stocking care packages, offering a significant portion of their showroom to store donations and warmly welcoming every contribution with smiles and offers of help. When it came time start planning the deliveries, they stepped up once again, providing a box truck and a team of helping hands to ensure every package reached its destination.

Their support has been extraordinary and we’re so thankful to have such incredible community partners ♥️

We are so grateful for your generosity in hosting a collection site and to all of the Trades Mill tenants and community who contributed items. Your kindness is making a difference this holiday season, bringing joy and care to our local seniors. Thank you for being a part of this heartwarming effort!
