SpiritHorse Equine-Assisted Services We are a 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2012, by Charlotte Dougherty. SpiritHorse is fully operated by volunteers.

SpiritHorse Therapeutic Riding Center of the San Francisco Bay Area is reaching out to the community offering services to:

Under-Resourced Families
At-Risk
Autism
Cerebral Palsy
Down Syndrome
Mental Health

Our program is open to any person with a disability who can benefit from this special form of therapy. We will also be implementing a special program for our Military Veterans and their families.

An amazing new boarding opportunity for horse owners in our area! Spirithorse is partnering with a local ranch to offer care and boarding for all things equine! From full care services to pasture turn out we will offer a variety of services to make your horse or pony as comfortable as possible! Large working round pen, open arena as well as miles and miles of trails available. Extra large stalls, six horse variable speed hot walker, and an established trusted vet and farrier available; as well as only 25 minutes to UC Davis if the need arises. Located in Vacaville, CA. Rates are reasonable and dependent on level services requested.
