This is a very difficult post to write.

Magdeline, affectionately called Dada, was raised in the children's home since she was four years old. She passed away suddenly due to an unknown illness. Dada was 25 years old. She had overcome many obstacles in her life. She had completed her education and had been working at our school for the past few years. She was very much loved and will be missed greatly.

Please pray for peace for Frantzo, Anise, and the children, particularly those who grew up with her as a sister.

We are asking for help to give Dada a special funeral and place of burial in Jacmel. If you would like to donate, you can do so at the link below.

If you have been with us for a while, then you probably remember the story of Yonel and Manita, the brother and sister that we found abandoned in the mountains back 2013 (right photo). They are nearing the end of high school now and prepping for college (circled in left photo). This would not have happened without the support from our donors all of these years. Thank you!
