Friday, I attended the graduation of Southwestern Illinois College Fire Academy Class #002. Fifteen new firefighters graduated today, including 2 from my home Local, Alton L-1255. I am excited that all 15 graduates are assigned to Locals in District 3 of the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois .
