Alton Municipal Band Join Alton’s Best and Brightest as they perform in the Alton Municipal Band!

The AMB that has played "Concerts in the Park" since 1891 and would love to see you at a show! The full Alton Municipal Band performs on Thursdays in the gazebo at Riverview Park at 7:30 pm, and on Sundays near the Lucy Playhouse in Haskell Park at 7 pm. Now in its 132nd consecutive season of summer concerts, we welcome and encourage the community to visit the parks for some quality outdoor time with family and friends. The season will feature guest soloists performing outside with the entire band, the traditional kiddie march for children through the park, and smaller ensembles at various locations around Alton, including the Farmers’ Market on Saturdays.

Here are the photos from last Sunday evening! Be sure to join us for our Final Week of Concerts in the Park Series! This week our gest soloist will be Kelsey Waits, a local talent from Alton, and violin teacher. and she is also the Vice President for the Alton Symphony Orchestra.

Kelsey is a local talent from Alton, and teaches Violin to students in the area. She is also the Vice President for the Alton Symphony Orchestra.

We are excited to have her join us and can't wait for you to hear her perform Schindler’s List.

Hope you enjoyed our Tubarrific concert tonight!! There was a scooter that was left unattended by one our younger patrons. We locked it up for safe keeping and if you know what color the scooter was, find us next week at the park so can return it to its rightful owner!

This week we are joined by Master Sergeant Matthew Kuebler! Master Sergeant Matthew Kuebler, a native of Evansville, IN, is a tubist with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, where he performs in the Concert Band and Ceremonial Band. Additionally, Sergeant Kuebler serves as Section Chief of Publicity. See you at the Parks!!
