Sheila, a longtime garden volunteer, and a few new volunteers w**d a broccoli bed at NHCO's community garden. Without volunteers, NHCO would have a very hard time providing fresh, organic produce to our food pantry families over the summer.

Maxim is a father from Romania who is currently critically ill with serious lung complications and unable to work. At home, his two sons, ages 15 and 2, are navigating an incredibly difficult time.

Members of the Peebles Elementary School PTA organized a collection for NHCO and a fun event for students.

During a visit to NHCO's Allison Park Office, the PTA created a video featuring our food pantry, which explained to students the importance of donating to the program.

Summer is one of the hardest times of year for food pantry shelves to remain stocked. Kids are home from school, routines change, and donations often dip. If you’d like to help, we’ll be open this Saturday for donation drop-offs. Most-needed items include laundry detergent, canned tuna, boxed sides, peanut butter and snack foods.
