This year, the Walk for Hope means even more.

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, we’re coming together to honor Pastor Jeff’s legacy and the heart behind the founding of Network of Hope in 2002.

The Walk for Hope brings runners, families, individuals, businesses, and our entire community together to support the work happening through Network of Hope’s three food banks—serving more than 24,000 people each year across the Pittsburgh area.

The Network of Hope Food Bank is participating in The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Critical Needs Alert, an online giving event supporting basic needs across Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.

Donations made today will help us continue providing food and support to local individuals and families who need it most.

This year, we've given our 5K a new name, one that carries deeper meaning: The Jeff Leake Walk for Hope 5K!

The Jeff Leake Walk for Hope 5K will be permanently renamed in honor of Pastor Jeff Leake, whose heart for this community and vision for hope has shaped everything we do at Network of Hope. This walk reflects his legacy.

Join us this summer at the North Park Boathouse as we support individuals and families facing food insecurity in Western PA. Whether you walk, run, bring your family, or invite a friend, your participation helps bring practical support and hope to our neighbors.

Serving our community means helping meet practical needs with care, compassion, and hope.

Through Network of Hope’s food bank efforts, individuals and families experiencing hardship receive support during difficult seasons. Each meal represents a community coming together to serve neighbors and make sure people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Did you know that Network of Hope offers several different types of ?

Among the different types of groups such as Embrace Grace and DivorceCare we also offer a special group for those in recovery called Celebrate Recovery.

Celebrate Recovery is a faith-based recovery program to help people with hurts, habits, and hang-ups, including alcohol & chemical dependency, codependency, compulsive behaviors, and anger management. We also have support for families who have a loved one battling substance abuse.
