If you’ve been to Toledo, Ohio in the last 70 years, you’d know Yoder is the name in used machinery sales there. And it’s not going to change in the foreseeable future.
Yoder Brothers Machinery LTD has only been around since 2019. Kory Yoder and Ryan Yoder are the newest generation to have machinery in the family lineage. It was their grandfather, Lowell Yoder, who started buying low and selling high and from the beginning it was a family-oriented business, employing brothers, cousins, friends and, eventually, sons. It didn’t take long for Yoder Machinery to become celebrated in used equipment circles.
emerged when Lowell’s sons, Tim and Terry, wanted to join the fun. YMS became one of the largest used-equipment dealers in the U.S. — and remains so today.
Now, three generations later, co-owners Ryan and Kory Yoder — two of Lowell’s grandsons — are the namesake siblings who operate Yoder Brothers Machinery with their father, Tim. Their business occupies more than 300,000 square feet in the Toledo area, filling used and new equipment orders here and abroad.
