Aledo Robotics Club

Aledo Robotics Club We're always looking for new sponsors, mentors, and members! Aledo Robotics Club first started in the fall of 2012 based at Aledo High School.

We are the robotics teams at Aledo High School: FIRST Tech Challenge teams Circuit Breakers (6566), Overload (9161), High Voltage (13811), and Maximum Resistance (20325). The first competition we debuted with our team 6566, known as "Victory Robotics." Later along our journey, the club picked up more members and thus we had to split via mitosis, changing the team name to "Circuit Breakers," and a

sister team, 9161 "Overload", was born. It's hard to believe we are five years old and all our first members have since graduated. We hope to keep our team's legacy living on in our community and in the world of FIRST.

Aledo HS Robotics teams proudly hosted and competed in our League Tournament yesterday! We are incredibly grateful to the parents, alumni, volunteers, and FTC staff who dedicated countless hours over four Saturdays to make our League a success. We’re excited to share that all four Aledo teams advanced to the playoffs and earned judged awards. Team 6566 was on the winning alliance and won the 1st place Inspire Award. Team 9161 was on the 2nd place alliance and also received the 2nd place Inspire Award. These teams will compete at the regional championship in February. Team 20325 battled to the semi-finals and won the 1st place Sustain Award. Team 13811 also competed to the semi-finals round and won the Control Award. They will move on the semi-regional championship in February. It was an exciting finish to a long day, and we couldn’t be prouder of our teams’ hard work and accomplishments.
