Holmans Foundation for Autism

Holmans Foundation for Autism Our mission is to increase public interest & awareness of Autism, recognize deserving teachers, & provide needed technology for Autism specific classrooms

Anthony D. Trujillo, president of Holmans USA, established the Holmans Foundation for Autism in 2013 to increase public interest and awareness of Autism, recognize deserving teachers, and provide needed technology for Autism specific classrooms in public schools. A recent survey indicated that one in fifty school-aged children in the United States is afflicted by Autism. The Holmans Foundation is

inspired by Mr. Trujillo’s beautiful daughter Sophia who was diagnosed with Autism at an early age. When Mr. Trujillo bought her an iPad he noticed an improvement in her communication skills. Through this discovery Mr. Trujillo realized that he could positively impact the educational development of Autistic children by putting iPads in their classrooms. Not only was this a great idea but also a perfect charitable outlet for a technology based company such as Holmans. We are working hand-in-hand with classroom teachers who have developed special curriculum using this technology. Through 2013 Holmans has donated over forty tablets to several public school classrooms. The Foundation reached a major mile-stone in 2014 and is now a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All net proceeds are used to buy technology and improve the quality of life for Autistic children, their parents, and teachers.
