This is why we do what we do. 🦁💛

We recently received a wonderful thank-you from local high school student Marlee for the Albertville Lions’ support of her Girl Scout Gold Award project.

Marlee spent the past year redesigning the Clothing Closet at Open Doors for Youth, creating a more organized, functional and welcoming shopping experience for youth who visit the center. Her project included a new layout, shelving and equipment, and even a fitting room.

We were proud to help fund a portion of her project — and even prouder to see what she accomplished with it.

And this is where all of you come in. Every brat you buy, every raffle ticket you grab, and every Lions fundraiser you support gives us the ability to support projects like Marlee’s and put those dollars right back into our community.

Those brats and raffle tickets really do add up. ❤️

Thank you, Marlee, for the kind note — and congratulations on an incredible Gold Award project! 🦁
