Teamsters Local 294 was proud to participate in HVCC Career Jam, educating the next generation of workers about the Teamsters and the many benefits of a Union job, including better wages, quality benefits, job security, and a voice in the workplace!

Students also had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of our Teamsters Mobile Driving Simulator, putting their driving skills to the test while navigating various road hazards, obstacles, and real-world driving challenges!

Events like Career Jam are a great opportunity to introduce young people to rewarding career paths and show them the importance of Union representation.

Teamsters Local 294 was proud to attend Career Con at Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC)!

Students had the opportunity to step outside and test their driving skills on our mobile driving simulator, while inside they could stop by our table to learn more about the Teamsters, careers with union representation, and the opportunities available to working people through a strong union.

It was great connecting with the next generation of workers and giving students a hands-on look at where a Teamsters career can take them.

Thank you to FMCC for having Teamsters Local 294 be part of a great event!

💪 Building skills. Building careers. Building the future.

Teamsters Local 294 is proud to welcome the Mobile Site Vehicle Specialists at Care Access who voted to join our Union!

These workers play an important role in bringing clinical research directly into local communities. Mobile Site Vehicle Specialists manage and support decentralized mobile research units, field logistics, and community health screening operations, helping ensure mobile medical clinics have the physical, technical, and operational infrastructure needed to conduct clinical trials in the field.

By coming together and voting to join Teamsters Local 294, these workers have chosen to have a collective voice and a seat at the table when decisions are made about their wages, benefits, working conditions, and other terms and conditions of employment.

Teamsters Local 294 was proud to stand in solidarity today with the striking Amazon workers at the SWF1 facility in Rock Tavern, NY.

These workers walked off the job to demand an end to unfair labor practices and to fight for safer working conditions. Workers have raised serious concerns about dangerous conveyor belt speeds, inadequate training, and being reassigned to departments without the preparation they need to work safely.

Every worker deserves a safe workplace, a voice on the job, and the right to stand together for better working conditions.

Local 294 is proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with these workers as they make their voices heard.

An injury to one is an injury to all!

WORKERS AT SWF1 LAUNCH ULP STRIKE

Warehouse workers at the SWF1 facility in Rock Tavern, New York have walked out to demand Amazon end its unfair labor practices and institute safer working conditions at the facility. Amazon managers have repeatedly ignored worker concerns about safety, such as dangerous conveyor belt speeds and worker reclassification to departments where they do not receive adequate training.

“Amazon wants us to be scared because Amazon knows it has no answer for worker solidarity and worker power. When we stand together and stand up for each other, there is nothing that we can’t accomplish,” said Scott Spath, a warehouse worker at SWF1. “We are done waiting on Amazon to fix these problems. The only way to win the respect we deserve is by taking it, and we are doing that here at SWF1.”
