There was plenty to celebrate other than good weather and plenty of food with the passage of Tier 5 & 6 Reform Statewide and Tier 2A Reform in NYC.

The Police Conference of New York said we would get it done, and we did.

On June 6, 2026, National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) President Mick McHale was inducted into the Florida Law Enforcement Officers' Hall of Fame.

Mick also serves as Florida Police Benevolent Association Senior Vice President & Southwest Florida Chapter President where it all began.

Mick has spent his career fighting for the men and women of law enforcement, first in Florida and now in Washington D.C.

The Police Conference of New York is proud to call Mick McHale a friend and honored to advocate with him for police where ever they serve.

Congratulations on being recognized for your decades of service.

Tuesday, June 6, 1944, American troops performed a huge operation in what history knows as the Invasion of Normandy establishing a foothold that guaranteed victory in Europe against the Axis powers.

Today, we remember D-Day and honor the service and sacrifice of those who fought. We honor their courage, and we remember those who never came home.

We can never repay them—but we will always remember their courage, sacrifice and love of country.
