We had a small supporting role in the Freedom 250 celebration of the 250 year birthday of our nation, this weekend at the Baca National Wildlife Refuge. We learned a lot about refuge and resource management and were able to share our love for conservation with the public alongside our partners at CPW, US Fish and Wildlife Service the Nature Conservancy and the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Happy National Trails Day from SLV GO! 🌲Today we celebrate the trails that connect us to nature, our communities, and the incredible places that make the San Luis Valley special.
A huge thank you to the volunteers, partners, and our GOAT crews whose hard work helps keep these trails open, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone. ⛏️
To celebrate, we’ll be joining and community volunteers this weekend at the Pronghorn Trail System for a trail work day. We’re grateful for everyone who gives their time and energy to care for these shared spaces.
