Pledge to Humanity Inspiring Youth to Be Compassionate Changemakers Through Volunteering and Hands-On Service Projects

Pledge to Humanity empowers children and young adults to volunteer in efforts that improve the quality of life for other children, families and seniors in need through local and global initiatives. We believe that when young people lead the effort to make a difference in their community, they become compassionate changemakers. They grow into leaders who possess a lifelong commitment to service. Pledge to Humanity champions everyone at every age to become a forever volunteer.

and collected for a drive benefiting the Baby Shower in Oakland 💛🍌👶

We collected over 150 baby items to support local families and new parents in need. From diapers and wipes to clothing and essentials, every donation was given with love and purpose.

Huge thank you to everyone who donated! This is what humanity looks like — people coming together to make a real impact. 💫

The Acalanes Pledge to Humanity chapter wrapped up their final meeting of the year with a very special visitor — Joybound’s therapy Pet Hug Pak dog! 🐾 The group had such a fun time meeting Boomer and learning more about the amazing work Joybound does in our community.

This year, our students showed incredible dedication to service, contributing over 250 volunteer hours throughout the year! We are so proud of all the hard work, compassion, and commitment this team has shown.

Great job, team, and thank you for making such a positive impact this year! 💙
