What is a DVT?🩸

A Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot in a vein, typically in your leg or your arm. This is a serious condition that, if untreated, could lead to the clot breaking and going somewhere else in your body and blocking blood flow, like your lungs, which is then called a "pulmonary embolism."

There are medications that help to treat these blood clots, but sometimes, depending on where the clot is or how big it is, as well as other factors, medications alone are not enough. Fortunately, there’s a MIIP for that!

Minimally invasive treatments can:
