The unit participated in 2 parades this morning. The first is Weston and the second one in Onsted. All the members did a great job.

The unit helped place over 1500 flags at the local cemetery to honor the fallen soldiers.

It’s not too late for your child to join the next recruit class. This is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 18 who are interested in learning, teamwork, leadership, and discipline. Come out and observe the unit on Thursday, May 14 from 6:15 to 8:30pm. The unit holds drill at the Lenawee County Conservation League. 1404 Sutton Rd in Adrian.

The unit partnered with the Adrian Post Office to help with the Annual Food Drive. In a span of 5 hours over 11,200 pounds of food was collected and sorted to give to 5 local food banks. Great job everyone and thank you for your hard work.

Do you have a child that is between 8-18 years old? Are they interested in learning leadership, teamwork, and discipline? If so the unit is starting a new recruit class on Thursday May 14th at 6:15pm located at the Lenawee County Conservation League on Sutton Rd in Adrian. Come join us on May 7th for an orientation to answer all of your questions. If you’re unable to join us on the 7th, just reach out to us and we can discuss the information over the phone. The unit partnered with the Care Pregnancy Center for a community service project of sorting over 1500 baby bottles. Afterwards they were able to enjoy a trip to the ice cream shop. Great job everyone for all your hard work.

The unit had the Lenawee County Sheriff Office come out for a visit. Thank you Sgt Perdue for taking your time to talk with the unit.

Help support the unit with their flower sales fundraiser. They are located at the TLC Bank in Adrian on the corner of M52 and 223. And also at the Hudson Markethouse. They will be at both locations until 4 PM or until they sell out. All funds raised will be used to help them attend the Division encampment and Leadership schools.
