Dear Employer and Community Partner,

You are invited to participate in the WORKlahoma Job Fair on Wednesday, Oct 28th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This event is a great opportunity to connect with motivated job seekers, including several students who are currently attending training at Pontotoc Technology Center. In addition, the Job Fair will be open to the public, allowing you to meet a wide range of potential employees from our community.

As part of the event, attendees will have access to:

🎉 Happy 5-Year Work Anniversary, Linda! 🎉

Five years of Linda at Ada Homeless Services means five years of hard work, straight talk, big hearts, and more than a few “Where have you been?!” conversations. 😂

We lovingly call Linda our Office Mom, but the truth is, she’s a mom to many of our homeless friends, too. She’s no-nonsense, to the point, down-to-earth, and realistic—but underneath all of that is an incredible amount of compassion and genuine care for the people we serve.

Linda oversees our Homeless Prevention Program, helping individuals and families stay housed by providing assistance with rental payments and preventing utility shutoffs. She’s often the person helping someone through a crisis before it turns into homelessness—and she takes that responsibility seriously.

If she hasn’t seen someone around for a while, she worries about them. And when they finally walk through the door, they’re likely to get a big dose of Linda’s concern… followed closely by her getting onto them for worrying her! 😂❤️ That’s just Linda—she cares deeply, even when she shows it in her own wonderfully blunt way.

Outside of work, Linda lives on Lake Texoma time with husband Craig. ❤️

Linda, thank you for five years of showing up, speaking truth, loving people well, keeping people housed, and being such an important part of Ada Homeless Services. We are so lucky to have you—and our clients are even luckier.

Happy 5 years, Linda! We love you! ❤️
