The Nehemiah Projects of Acadiana is proud to serve as a local drop-off site for unitedwayacadiana Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive, presented by Hancock Whitney!

We’re inviting businesses, churches, civic groups, organizations, and community members to join us in supporting local teachers and students by donating much-needed classroom supplies.

Mayor Roslyn White will be joined by special guest Pastor Walter August III of The Nehemiah Projects of Acadiana for a morning of conversation and community discussion.

☀️ SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENS ☀️

Looking for a way to make money, gain work experience, and stay productive this summer? The Vermilion Parish School System is now accepting applications for Summer Student Workers in Maintenance!

This is a great opportunity for current high school students or recent graduates ages 16–18 to learn responsibility, teamwork, and real-world job skills while earning money over the summer.

🛠 Job duties may include:
Cleaning
Painting
Moving furniture
Helping prepare schools for the new school year

📍 Work Hours:
Monday through Friday
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM during June and July

✅ Requirements include:
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Positive attitude and willingness to work
