MEET OUR DREAM MUN’26 CONFIRMED DELEGATE #29
Meet Abigail V. P. Martin, a young Sierra Leonean legal practitioner committed to using her knowledge and skills to promote access to justice, protect human rights, and contribute positively to her community.
Abigail is particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable and underserved individuals who may face barriers to legal representation and justice. As part of her commitment to community service, she provides free legal services to both male and female inmates within the Sierra Leone Correctional Service, helping them better understand their legal rights, navigate legal processes, and access justice regardless of their circumstances.
Beyond her legal work, Abigail actively engages in initiatives and opportunities that contribute to learning, community development, and social impact. She also participates in surveys and research activities that provide insights into community experiences and social issues, recognizing the importance of evidence-based approaches to development.
With a strong passion for leadership, justice, community service, women’s empowerment, and creating meaningful opportunities for positive change, Abigail aspires to continue using her professional skills, knowledge, and experiences to serve her community and contribute to positive change in Sierra Leone and beyond.
At Dream MUN’26, she will represent Finland 🇫🇮 in the UN Women Committee, bringing her legal expertise, passion for justice, human rights, and women’s empowerment to the diplomatic floor.
